Best argument for atheism . . . . . Hmmmmmm . . . .
1) Throw out everything your parents or society/culture ever said to you about God/gods.
2) Live your life.
That is the best argument for atheism.
if crisis of conscience is one of the top watchtower doctrine killers, what is the coc of theism?.
i'd like to read a book, or other material that does the best job logically arguing for atheism.. i've not read any darwin, however it is my assumption that his focus is primarily on evolution, is this correct?
if you were to recommend one book or a few pieces of reading material, which do the best job of defending atheism, what would they be?.

talked with a pioneer recently, she was recounting her first experience with cart witnessing.. she brought the subject up, was going on & on & on & on about how wonderful the experience was, and how great, and how she enjoyed it so much, and it was so wonderful, and oh jehovah's blessing, and on and on and on...... a few questions to her revealed what really happened:.
-- a jw who owns a small restaurant in a strip mall allows jws to set up their cart outside his restaurant.
-- the restaurant is tucked pretty far out of the way, not prominent at all.
Funny. . . . .
At the university I'm attending, JW tables pop up every now and then during spring and fall semesters when the place is buzzing with students at the student centers.
The response: *crickets*
Right now I am taking summer courses at the U and the place is DEAD.
The other day, I swear there couldn't have been more than half a dozen students in the entire student center.
And yet. . . . . there was the JW table set up at the student center to preach to: NOBODY.
They might as well have bought a few coffees and set up shop in the janitor's closet. Same exposure.
What an incredible waste of time.
the wt study of may stated that no one is exempt from doing fieldservice.does that mean the gb also does fieldservice?and dont give me any if that "no they only give us insrtuction bullshit" because that would mean not everything applies to everyone, and thats never the case in the jw organisation!
this is from the last talk of the convention ......... clip 1:30 minutes longhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mrej8tlyiso&feature=youtu.be.
clip 3 minutes long.
ron and brenda sutton ................warwick 3 children
it was the missed association with family that brought them back.
Do these people even hear what is coming out of their mouths?
Their child didn't come back because of Jehovah. She came back because she was emotionally blackmailed by WT via her family.
FUN FACT: my wife was at this convention. In fact, she sat across from AMIII one of the days! We also know the guy conducting the interview.
it has been 2 and a half years since my departure from the religion.
i was told by my parents from the start that i would never speak to them until i returned to jehovah dog.
a few months later they told people they hoped i died before the end came, then all of this culminating in them telling my inactive / fading sister that they don't consider me a child anymore and they have given me up to satan.
Absolutely brilliant!
Love it!
i took a quick trip to the store and i happened to see a young man (about 26-28 years old) who got baptized about the same time i was leaving- about 2 years ago.
a couple of pioneer sisters found him in the door to door work.
one of them, a very attractive girl.
again, thanks to wifibandit and pixel for their work behind the scenes.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pwzviu3jfko.
"Quoting Jehovah's feelings about the inactive"?
Really?
when it finally clicked,.
and you realized there was no 1914, there was no generation that would see the end of a wicked system, there was no paradise around the corner, .
what went through you mind?.
When it finally "clicked" for me, I told myself: You need to get your ass in school!
Within one year I was sitting in class at my state U.
Now I'm a FT student, graduating in spring 2017, and looking foward to the future.
..that the governing body are only in it for money and power?.
how many of you think the gb are all/some are sincere?.
okay, i know this has been asked before but i can't find the thread and there are newbies here.....and i like the sound of my own voice.
I don't think they do it for money or power.
I think they do what they do because they truly believe that CONTROL IS LOVE.
